Three different glass colors have been used to characterize the male, female and the unisex version of the new Benetton fragrances, including a feeder melted green and blue, and flint glass, subsequently sprayed in orange.
The shape of the bottle is quite simple, making the issues concerning the purity of the surfaces, the lack of any molding seams and the smoothness of the glass distribution a major point.
The bottle is encapsulated in a transparent plastic box, which features in the top side the chrome colored dispensing mechanism. The bottle neck is fitted into it.
On the opposite side, the base of the bottle, extremely regular and flat, plays a key role in the building of the perfume packaging. Actually, the plastic base of the external box is stuck to it through two orientation lugs, that at a first time allowed the correct positioning of the bottle inside the box, and used now as a placeholder for the glue. Since the fitting between the base and the remaining part of the box is ensured by the bottle, it goes without saying that a perfect parallelism between neck and base of the bottle is crucial.
The personalization is given to the ensemble by the famous brand logo ‘United Colors of Benetton’ decorated on the external box.
